We are attempting to compile an accurate and complete list of raw dairies in Florida and by mid December 2014 had identified just under 100 who might be selling raw dairy (primarily from realmilk.com and localharvest.org). As more dairies consent to be on this list, they will be added here. Currently there are 39 raw daires listed; we expect a final list of around 53. To locate those few raw dairies that prefer to be “under the radar”, contact your local Weston A. Price Foundation chapter leader.
In Florida, raw dairy is sold “for pet consumption only”. While an unfortunate choice of words, it is reflective of the absence of specific law and regulators’ desire to encourage the far superior animal husbandry, diet, and land regeneration that are hallmarks of micro raw dairies. (Many agriculture regulators grew up drinking milk from their own family’s animals.) Note that because of the “for pet consumption only” labelling, many dairies will refuse to sell to you if you mention that a human will be drinking it. You are purchasing it for your pets.
