South Florida Farmers’ & Green Markets

South Florida is fortunate to have a number of farmers’ markets; some established long ago, with large number of new ones started in the last few years. What you’ll find on any given day depends on the season and the clientele the market attracts. If you are specifically looking for local produce, buy only from those vendors that are willing to properly label which farm grew the item and how it was grown (certified organic, grown with no synthetic chemicals, or conventional). Note: though they may call themselves a “farmers’ market”, markets with one vendor only are listed in our Farm Stores, Markets & U–Picks section.

Markets in black type are open now; markets in grey type are open during the season listed.
Listed from north to south.
